If it aint broke, why fix it?
I've been wearing Acuvue for years, and I know they have the Acuvue Advanced and the Acuvue Oasis now, but I've always liked the original Acuvue, and I cant see the point of trying something new when these lenses are just fine.

ACUVUE day and night lenses
I wear these 10++ years with pleasure. Sorry to hear that ACUVUE stops production of these lenses. I wonder why. There is no alternative with the same BC of 9.1 and DIA of 14.4 I hope they will reconsidder. Twan van G. Netherlands

Loyal and Long Time Acuvue Wearer - I'll never switch to anything else again
I have worn Acuvue contacts for over 10 years and loved them. This past year, my eye doctor switched my prescription to Acuvue Advance since they are supposed to be made from a better material, etc. Wearing those lenses was a nightmare for me. Even on a brand new pair, I would get deposits on lenses that made it like looking through waxed paper. People would even comment that they could see the white spots on the lenses. What a pain. I had my eye doctor switch me back to Acuvues and I will not let anyone easily persuade me to try anything else.

Sticking With the Original
I started wearing these years ago when they first came out. When the Acuvue 2 came out, my doctor tried switching me to them but they were so dry that I couldn't tolerate them in my eyes for more than a couple of hours. I went back to my original Acuvues. Right now my doctor has me wearing a trial pair of the Acuvue Oasys and while they're comfortable enough, my vision seems blurry in them, like it takes me a long time to shift focus from my left eye, which I use for close up, to my right which I use for distance. I've been wearing the Oasys for over a week, but this morning I put in a pair of the regular Acuvues and it was like night and day, my vision was so instantly sharp and clear. I'm going to tell my doctor that I want to stick with the original Acuvues.

First Class.....
I HAD A HARD TIME FINDING THE ORIGINAL ACUVUE ANY WHERE .... PLEASE KEEP MAKING THEM ACUVUE! BUT SAW AC LENS WAS SELLING THEM AT A GREAT PRICE . SAVED 70 DOLLARS,,,,,,,,, AND WERE AT MY DOOR WITH IN 3 DAYS THANKS AC LENS
